Risks
The performance of a managed fund depends upon the performance of its investments. Unit values reflect the market value of the assets of the Fund, and consequently may rise or fall in line with market variations.

Whilst the UCA Funds Management Limited seeks to act in the best interests of investors and utilises a number of strategies to minimise risk, including monitoring, careful analysis of research, and rebalancing of the portfolio, the following risks of investing in a managed fund should be considered prior to investment:

·      Capital Risk you could receive back less money than you initially invested;

·      Income Risk  there is no guarantee that you will receive income;

·      Investment Selection Risk the risk that the specific investments selected for the Fund will under-perform the market;

·      Company Risk the progress of individual companies may be affected by changes in factors such as the competitive environment in which they operate, technology, personnel and consumer preferences;

·      Share Risk individual share prices may experience volatile price movements and dividend payments over time;

·      Market Risk market conditions can and do impact the value of the Fund’s investments, and are affected by a range of factors including economic developments, political events, legislative changes, technology developments and market sentiment;

·      Overseas Market Risk foreign markets and exchanges may have different levels of liquidity, pricing protocols, settlement and clearing procedures;

·      Macro-economic Risk the general state of the Australian and international economies as well as changes in taxation policy, monetary policy, interest rates, currency exchange rates and statutory requirements are some of the factors which may influence the progress of financial markets and individual companies; and

·      Liquidity Risk The investments of the Portfolios may become illiquid due to unforeseen financial or economic events, in which case the Portfolios may temporarily suspend repayments.
