Farhaana Desai, UCA Funds Management’s Secretariat and Compliance Officer, was amongst 30 shortlisted candidates for the 2011 FSC Deloitte Future Leaders Award.  Her selected essay topic required an evaluation of the impact of CHI-X Australia, a rival trading platform to the Australian Stock Exchange, on the liquidity, transparency, price discovery and cost of execution of share  trading in Australia.  UCA Funds Management was pleased to support Farhaana in this exercise as these issues (especially transparency) are important considerations for an ethical investor.
