UCA Funds Management Limited has a Compliance Policy which describes the procedures to be used to comply with the Corporations Act 2001 and the Terms and Conditions, although please note that it has not been lodged with ASIC. The Compliance Policy is regularly reviewed by the Board of UCA Funds Management Limited.
The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML Act) imposes stringent obligations on financial services businesses to ascertain and verify the identity of their customers. The AML Act requires our Funds to comply with customer identification and verification procedures. Depending on circumstances, the Fund may need to obtain from you certain additional documents or pieces of information. We will inform you what information or documents we require, if any, when the need arises.
UCA Funds Management Limited has an internal dispute resolution process in place to resolve any complaints or concerns you may have, quickly and fairly. Any complaints or concerns should be directed to the Complaints Handling Officer (by telephone, facsimile, or letter) at the address and telephone/fax numbers found at http://www.ucafunds.com.au/aboutus/Pages/ContactUs.aspx. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 business days and would anticipate that the majority of complaints will be resolved within 10 business days.
UCA Funds Management Limited complies with the Privacy Act and the National Privacy Principles, and is committed to providing products and services in a manner which ensures your right to privacy is respected.
We only collect, use and retain personal information which is necessary to provide you with access to, and information about, our services.
We may provide that information to any of the organisations that it uses in the ordinary administration and management of its business or the Funds, including to the Investment and Administration Manager and providers of clerical, administration, investment management services or custodial services, settlement agents, clearing houses, and credit agencies. Investors have the right to access personal information which is held.
Queries about privacy should be directed in the first instance to the Operations Manager. There is a Privacy Commissioner who deals with certain complaints relating to privacy concerns. UCA Funds Management Limited operates under the umbrella of the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, and does not have any relationships or associations otherwise which might influence us in providing you with our services.
UCA Funds Management Limited is not prudentially supervised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and contributions to the Fund do not obtain benefit of the depositor protection provisions of the Banking Act 1959.
