Australia’s only regional disability arts festival and now in its fifteenth year, the Awakenings Festival is a ten-day celebration of ability set in the Victorian Mallee town of Horsham. “It has evolved from a festival specifically targeting people with disabilities to one where mainstream groups perform alongside disability and integrated groups” said Wimmera UnitingCare chief executive Wendy Middleton. “We are delighted that UCA Funds Management has come on board as a sponsor of this year’s event.
