Ethical Investment Guidelines

UCA Funds Management invests within the ethical guidelines of the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania. In examining investments, the Uniting Church avoids investing in companies directly involved in the following activities:

•  Manufacturing of armaments
•  Uranium
•  Gambling
•  Pornography
•  Production of tobacco/alcohol related products
•  Damage to the environment
•  Infringement of human rights.

In addition, UCA Funds Management seeks to invest in companies engaged in socially useful activities such as:           

•  Preserving the environment
•  Providing services to disabled persons.
